Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Mental Health & Relapse Prevention Program

A confidential, structured psychological care program based in Hong Kong, designed for professionals, executives, and high-functioning individuals seeking meaningful clinical support without stepping away from daily responsibilities.

Our goal is to keep you at work and being productive, rather than recovering for months at a residential rehab facility.

Peak Health's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) combines psychotherapy, relapse prevention, psychometric assessment, and therapeutic accountability within a discreet and evidence-based framework.

All programs are delivered by an Australian-registered psychologist and lawyer (non-practising) with specialist expertise in forensic psychology, executive mental health, and relapse prevention.

Relapse Prevention & Ongoing Accountability

Ongoing Relapse Prevention & Accountability

Peak Health offers structured relapse prevention support for individuals transitioning from intensive care or requiring ongoing therapeutic accountability.

The program includes:

  • One (1) weekly individual clinical session

  • Crisis support access during agreed clinical hours

  • Compliance monitoring

  • Behavioral accountability support

  • Personalized relapse prevention planning

  • Monthly written compliance summary

Available exclusively to clients who have completed a Peak Health IOP or Forensic Audit program, or by referral from a treating clinician.

Crisis support is available during agreed clinical hours as specified in the client's individual service agreement. This program does not constitute a 24-hour emergency service.

Our goal is not only recovery — but sustainable, long-term wellbeing.

Which Option Aligns With Peak Health?

For high-functioning individuals, Intensive Outpatient treatment is the 'gold-standard' model of care.

IOP allows recovery to occur within real life, without withdrawal from professional or personal responsibilities. It develops practical coping strategies under genuine conditions—where stress, access, and decision-making actually exist—resulting in more durable, transferable change.

The Right Choice Is the One That Works for You

Residential rehabilitation is reserved for specific clinical circumstances, such as acute medical or safety risk and in a country with high levels of medical care, not in rehab clinic in South East Asia. Outside of these exceptions, isolation from daily life is rarely necessary—and often counterproductive—for individuals who remain functional.

A structured IOP represents the modern standard of recovery for professionals who require discretion, continuity, and clinically sound outcomes.
